E-Tech IV is featured on the KTV, High5, Clout and Archetype men's boards and the Diamond and Archetype women's boards.

Shapes

Directional

Our Directional boards have a raised nose and flatter tail and are designed to charge down the hill. With a longer nose than tail, these boards have unparalleled powder performance and stability in all conditions.

Our Directional shape can be found on the Scout, Maverick and Archetype.

Directional Twin

Our Directional Twin boards feature a classic snowboard shape that can be ridden regular or switch but have a slightly longer nose than tail. These boards perform incredibly well across all terrain with balance and precision.

Our Directional Twin shape can be found on the Live and High5 men's boards.

True Twin

Our True Twin boards are identical end to end. Cut them in half at the waist and you won't be able to tell the nose from the tail. With perfect symmetry and balance, these boards are incredibly versatile and allow you to take on all terrain from groomers to powder and park.

Our True Twin shape can be found on the Vice, Color, KTV, Guerrilla, New Standard, BOD and Clout men's boards and the Nomad, Boyfriend and Diamond women's boards.

Wide Boards

Our wide boards are designed for riders with slightly larger feet allowing them to ride almost all of our boards without the fear of heel or toe drag.

We include 2 wide sizes in the Vice, Color, KTV, Guerrilla, Live, High5, New Standard, BOD and Clout men's boards.

Profiles

Traditional Camber

Traditional camber is an institution. With a positive arc shape from tip to tail, this preloads the board with tons of energy for a lively and responsive feeling in all conditions. This profile has tons of pop making it ideal for our All Terrain boards.

Traditional Camber can be found on the Guerrilla, Live and High5 men's boards.

Multi Camber

Our Multi Camber profile combines traditional camber between the feet with an early rise tip and tail. This increases versatility across all terrain and reduces the chance of catching an edge. This versatility makes it ideal for our Freestyle boards.

Multi Camber can be found on the Vice, Color and KTV men's boards and the Nomad and Boyfriend women's boards.

3D Camber

3D Camber combines traditional camber with a 3D shape at the nose and tail. Just like the back of a spoon, this lifts the nose, tail and contact points off the snow to increase versatility and reduce hang ups in soft snow without compromising stability or grip on hard snow. This makes it ideal for our Freeride boards.

3D Camber can be found on the New Standard, BOD and Clout men's boards and the Diamond women's board.

Hover Camber

Featured exclusively on our Powder Quiver range, Hover Camber combines traditional camber behind the front foot out to the tail with an elongated early rise out to the nose. This raises the nose out of soft snow and allows the tail to sink in allowing you to surf through the soft stuff.

Hover Camber can be found on the Scout, Maverick and Archetype men's and women's boards.

Additional Tech

Carbon Beams

A carbon beam is added along the length of the board to increase pop and snap without adding to the overall weight compared to traditional fibreglass only constructions.

Carbon V's

Starting at the inside of The Channel™ and running out to the contact points, these strategically placed carbon layers increase pop, snap and edge to edge response without adding overall weight compared to traditional fibreglass only constructions.

Kevlar

Kevlar added either side of The Channel™ increases the boards durability and dampens vibration for a tougher, more comfortable ride that shakes your soul, not your bones!

Topsheets

ICP 4160 Matte

Our super matte finish topsheets repel snow like no other meaning no getting bogged down or hiding our rad graphics!

Our matte topsheets are featured on the Vice, Guerrilla and New Standard men's boards and the Nomad women's board.

ATX Gloss

Our high gloss topsheets make graphics pop. Catch them in any light and our deep blacks subtly reflect the incredible landscape around you.

Our gloss topsheets are featured on the Color, KTV, Live, High5, BOD and Clout men's boards and the Boyfriend and Diamond women's boards.

TPU Combined

Our powder series boards come with a two tone TPU topsheet which combines both our gloss and matte finishes.

Fibreglass

Bi-Axial Glass

2 layers of fibreglass in different directions provide pop and snap with a smoother, softer flex for a more forgiving and friendly ride that doesn't compromise on performance.

Tri-Axial Glass

3 Layers of fibreglass in different directions provide a stiffer, more responsive flex and greater torsional rigidity to give the board precision and power in a super stable and versatile package.

Cores

Full Poplar Woodcore

Poplar is a lightweight wood with great strength and predictable flex characteristics. Poplar gives a great balance of lightness, strength, consistent flex and pop meaning you always know what your board is going to do next.

Poplar cores can be found on the Vice, Color, Guerrilla, Live, New Standard, BOD, Scout and Maverick men's boards and the Nomad, Boyfriend, Scout and Maverick women's boards.

Poplar/Paulownia Woodcore

A blend of lightweight yet strong woods to combine power, precision and balance with consistent flex characteristics. Lighter yet stronger than our full Poplar core, this blend increases response and precision.

Poplar & Paulownia blended cores can be found on the KTV, High5, Clout and Archetype men's boards and the Diamond and Archetype women's boards.

Birch Reinforcement

Birch reinforcement in all of our boards increases durability for greater Channel™ retention.

Mounting

The Channel™

All of our boards come with The Channel™ mounting system. The Channel™ is snowboarding's ultimate connection allowing for infinite stance options and rapid adjustment. The Channel™ is compatible with all major binding brands so why settle for less?

Bases

Durasurf 4001 Sintered

All of our boards come with high quality sintered bases for smooth, fast riding.

IS 7500 Sintered

Durability and speed in a highly absorbent package means these bases will never slow you down. Lots of tiny pores open up and absorb wax every time you service to give you a superior slide. All of our bases are sublimated allowing us to give them the same graphic pop as the top!

Edges

Rockwell 48 Steel

Incredibly durable steel edges prevent blowouts and breakage allowing you to ride harder with more confidence. Combined with our Seamless Sidewall V2 technology makes boards that are totally bombproof! Rockwell 48 steel edges are found on all of our boards.

Rubber Dampening

Rubber strips are added along the edges of the board and above The Channel to reduce vibration and chatter for a smoother, more comfortable ride.

Research & Development

The Archetype Lab

The Archetype Lab is our prototyping facility in Vancouver, BC. Capable of taking an idea from conception to the snow in just 24 hours, The Lab has been responsible for some of our greatest innovations. The very first Archetype snowboard was born here and we continue to create new ideas, processes, designs and technology at home, right here in Canada.

Seamless Sidewalls V2

In 2014 we won a prestigious ISPO innovation award for our original Seamless Sidewall technology. This used infused urethane sidewalls to reduce vibration and impact damage, just like skateboard wheels do. It was so successful that it is now used by numerous brands

Not content with what we had achieved we locked head designer Rob back in the Endeavor Lab to see what could be improved. Four season later and he has finally been let out again! Emerging like a mad scientist with his new concoction he unveiled Seamless Sidewalls V2. This new technology improves the manufacturing process of our boards, reduces waste but maintains the boards true characteristics and drastically reduces vibration and chatter across all terrain.
